Welcome to Hanoi! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our friendly team will transfer you to your downtown hotel. After checking in, enjoy the rest of the day exploring the vibrant city of Hanoi, with its rich culture, cuisine, and history—a perfect start to your Vietnamese adventure!

Embark on a full-day city tour of Hanoi starting at 08:30 am. Visit key sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, stilt-house residence, Presidential Palace, and Museum; the Temple of Literature; the Museum of Ethnology; Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake; and enjoy a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Conclude the day with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. In the evening, transfer to the train station for the overnight train to Lao Cai, departing at 21:15. Accommodation is in four-berth shared cabins, with the option to pay extra for full cabin occupancy if desired.

Arrive in Lao Cai early in the morning and transfer to your hotel in Sapa for check-in and refreshment. Begin your hike from Cat Cat village, passing a waterfall and hydroelectric station, then trek through rice terraces and along a river to Y Linh Ho village. After lunch, continue to Muong Hoa Valley, visiting Lao Chai and Ta Van villages. Return to Sapa by private vehicle for an overnight stay.

Drive to Bac Ha Town for the vibrant ethnic market where you’ll interact with local tribes such as the Flower H’mong and Tay. Start the day with an early swim (weather permitting) followed by breakfast. Explore a famous cave before cruising back to the harbor. Drive back to Hanoi for the overnight train to Hue, departing at 19:30.

FAQ


Are there any restrictions on photography in Vietnam?
Yes. Photography in or near military installations, airports or similar locations is prohibited. Anyone caught doing so will have the film, and possibly the camera or camcorder, confiscated and may be arrested.
Can I change my tour details after confirmation?
Once the official payment has been made, changes in tour details should be requested via email (divitravelvietnam@gmail.com or email of the staff processing your booking), and is subject to a surcharge of hotels and restaurants (depending on each case). Possibility of reservation amendments is also subject to service availability of our suppliers (hotels, restaurants and other)
Can I enter Vietnam later than my granted arrival date in visa approval letter?
