Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you will be greeted by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Start your city tour at 8:30 am from your hotel lobby. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Next, explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, established in 1070.

After lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, continue to the Museum of Ethnology, renowned for its extensive displays on Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups. Visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake, where the temple is situated on a small island. Enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride through Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter, followed by a traditional Vietnamese water puppet performance.

Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and from June 15 to August 15 for annual maintenance.

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay with a break en route. Board a traditional wooden junk, meet the crew, and enjoy lunch as you cruise towards secluded islands. Explore ancient limestone caves, and if the weather permits, go kayaking or swimming. Relax on deck with a drink as you watch the sunset and enjoy a seafood dinner under the stars.

Start your day with an early morning swim (weather permitting) and breakfast. Visit a famous cave in Halong Bay before cruising back to the main harbor. Drive to Noi Bai Airport for your late afternoon flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An.

At 8:30 a.m, meet your guide at your hotel for a walking tour of Hoi An’s old town. Visit the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, a local museum, and the vibrant market. Stroll through narrow streets showcasing Chinese, Japanese, French, and European architecture.  After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore or shop. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

Today is free for you to explore Hoi An’s World Heritage sites, visit the Cham ruins at My Son, take a cooking class, or join a photography tour. Alternatively, you can visit Cu Lao Cham Island for snorkeling and relaxation, or engage in local farming and fishing activities. If you want to include any of these activities, please let us know in advance.

Drive north to the Royal City of Hue with an optional stop at the Cham Museum or Marble Mountain. Enjoy scenic views of the coastline and Danang from the Hai Van Pass. In the afternoon, take a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, then visit the Royal Tombs of King Minh Mang or King Khai Dinh. Return to your hotel just before sunset.

After breakfast, tour the Imperial City of Hue, including the ancient walled Citadel and the former Imperial Palace. Visit Dong Ba Market to experience local produce. In the afternoon, drive to Phu Bai Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.

Drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and explore the extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a guided tour, including the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market. Return to your hotel around 6:00 pm.

Head south to visit the Cai Be floating market, then explore local workshops producing rice paper, coconut candy, and other goods. Transfer to Can Tho in the Mekong Delta for the night.

Cruise to the Cai Rang floating market, where all transactions occur on boats. Visit a fruit garden and return to Can Tho to observe rural life along the riverbanks. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City with lunch en route, arriving in the late afternoon.

FAQ


Are there any restrictions on photography in Vietnam?
Yes. Photography in or near military installations, airports or similar locations is prohibited. Anyone caught doing so will have the film, and possibly the camera or camcorder, confiscated and may be arrested.
Can I change my tour details after confirmation?
Once the official payment has been made, changes in tour details should be requested via email (divitravelvietnam@gmail.com or email of the staff processing your booking), and is subject to a surcharge of hotels and restaurants (depending on each case). Possibility of reservation amendments is also subject to service availability of our suppliers (hotels, restaurants and other)
Can I enter Vietnam later than my granted arrival date in visa approval letter?
Yes, you can enter later than the granted arrival date in visa approval letter providing that you exit by granted exit date.
