Welcome to Hanoi! Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. This marks the beginning of your 3-week journey through Vietnam.
Spend your morning at leisure. Around noon, join a street food tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter with a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. Delve into Vietnamese culinary traditions as you sample local delicacies and observe the vibrant street life. Learn about ingredients and historical contexts of popular northern dishes. After the tour, you are free to continue exploring or return to your hotel with assistance from your guide.

Embark on a full-day city tour starting at 08:30 am from your hotel. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, his former residence, the Presidential Palace, and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology and enjoy a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter. Conclude with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet performance.
Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and for annual conservation from October 1st to November 30th.

After breakfast, drive to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Explore historical sites including palaces, pagodas, and temples from the Dinh and Le Dynasties. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat ride through Trang An’s waterways, passing through caves and lush landscapes. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
Alternative Day 4: Hanoi – Villages in the Red River Delta (B, Home L)
Explore Bat Trang village, known for its ceramics, and visit But Thap Pagoda and Dong Ho village. Experience traditional Quan Ho music and return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long Bay and board your boat for an overnight cruise. Discover the bay’s stunning limestone formations, explore a famous cave, and enjoy a seafood dinner while watching the sunset.

Start your day with Tai Chi or a photo session, visit a beach, and go kayaking. Enjoy brunch before returning to the harbor and driving back to Hanoi.

Fly to Hue and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and visit the Royal Tombs of King Minh Mang or King Khai Dinh.

Tour the Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market. Drive to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass, visiting either the Cham Museum or Marble Mountain in Danang along the way.

Enjoy a morning walking tour of Hoi An’s Old Town, including the Japanese Covered Bridge and local market. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

A free day to explore Hoi An at your own pace. Optional activities include visiting My Son ruins, taking a cooking class, or joining a photography tour.

Visit the ancient Cham ruins of My Son and explore the temples and towers of the Champa Kingdom.

Transfer to Da Nang airport for a flight to Da Lat. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Explore Da Lat with a visit to Robin Hill, Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, the ‘Crazy House,’ and the Dalat Flower Garden. Take a cable car ride and visit Lang Biang Mountain and a traditional Lat village.

Visit Lat and Chil villages, explore coffee farms, and experience K’ho culture. Fly to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

Discover Ho Chi Minh City with visits to the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, Chinatown, and Binh Tay Market.

Drive to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Holy See Temple. After lunch, explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, used during the Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

Travel to Cai Be market and cruise among local barges. Visit a handicraft village and enjoy a rowing boat ride. Continue to Can Tho for an overnight stay.

Cruise to Cai Rang floating market and visit a fruit garden. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

Fly to Phu Quoc Island. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
