After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a 2.5-hour drive to Hoa Binh. Visit the Muong Cultural Space to gain insight into the Muong people and their culture. Continue to the stunning Mai Chau Valley for lunch at a traditional stilt-house. Explore the surrounding Pom Coong village and then embark on a 3-hour trek through lush paddy fields and authentic villages. Spend the night with a Thai family.

Today’s trekking adventure takes you mostly downhill. Start with a gentle descent on a wide path, which then narrows and winds through hamlets and cultivated fields, offering beautiful valley views. The trek includes stream crossings, steep descents, and navigating between rice paddies, with distant views of karst rock formations. After lunch at a local family’s home, drive to the trailhead for a 3-hour trek to Hang Village in Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Experience tranquil landscapes, traditional stilt houses, and rice paddies along the way. Enjoy a home-cooked dinner with a White Thai family, where you’ll stay the night.

Consider an early start to witness the daily activities of village life, such as feeding livestock and tending gardens. The trek includes stream crossings, a steep ascent, and stunning mountain views. After lunch with another local family, return to Hanoi, arriving in the late afternoon.

Are there any restrictions on photography in Vietnam?
