After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a city tour of Luang Prabang, starting with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which showcases a collection of artifacts from the Royal period of Luang Prabang. The tour continues with visits to some of the city’s oldest and most significant temples, including the stunning Wat Xiengthong, known for its sweeping roof that nearly touches the ground—a prime example of classical Lao architecture. You’ll also visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the serene shrine of Wat Aham. Later, head to the Mekong River, where a private boat awaits to take you on a picturesque cruise upstream to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves.
