Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.

After a delicious breakfast, dive into Hanoi’s highlights on a comprehensive city tour. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s oldest university dating back to 1070. In the afternoon, explore the fascinating Museum of Ethnology with its life-size structures representing Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities. Enjoy a cyclo ride through the bustling streets of Hanoi before ending the day with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet performance.

Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and from June 15 to August 15 for annual maintenance.

After a brief transfer from your hotel, enjoy a stroll around Truc Bach Lake with a tasting of Pho Cuon. Next, visit Chau Long Market to sample unique local fruits, livestock, and market foods like tree tomatoes, green mango with chili, silkworms, and pork with green rice. Continue by taxi to a renowned shrimp restaurant, followed by a visit to a top Bun Cha stall for grilled pork patties and pork belly with sticky rice noodles. End your day at a traditional Hanoi café established in 1936, where you can enjoy specialties like black sticky rice with yogurt or coffee with yogurt. Return to your hotel for a free afternoon.

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay with a refreshment stop along the way. Board a traditional wooden junk and enjoy lunch as the boat sails towards secluded islands. Explore ancient limestone caves and, weather permitting, go sea kayaking and swimming. Return to the junk for a sunset drink on deck and a freshly prepared seafood dinner under the stars.

Visit notable sites such as the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, a local museum, and the vibrant market. Stroll through narrow lanes lined with houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French, and European architecture. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and the rest of the day at your leisure.

Spend the morning at leisure in Hoi An. In the afternoon, drive to Hue with a stop to visit either the Cham Museum or the Marble Mountains. Continue on the scenic route to Hue, with a photo opportunity at Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Clouds).

FAQ


Are there any restrictions on photography in Vietnam?
Yes. Photography in or near military installations, airports or similar locations is prohibited. Anyone caught doing so will have the film, and possibly the camera or camcorder, confiscated and may be arrested.
Can I change my tour details after confirmation?
Once the official payment has been made, changes in tour details should be requested via email (divitravelvietnam@gmail.com or email of the staff processing your booking), and is subject to a surcharge of hotels and restaurants (depending on each case). Possibility of reservation amendments is also subject to service availability of our suppliers (hotels, restaurants and other)
Can I enter Vietnam later than my granted arrival date in visa approval letter?
Yes, you can enter later than the granted arrival date in visa approval letter providing that you exit by granted exit date.
