Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be greeted by one of our representatives and transferred to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure. Overnight stay in Hanoi.Hanoi, the vibrant capital of Vietnam, blends modernity with old-world charm, featuring striking colonial architecture and serene lakes and parks that create a relaxing atmosphere.

Your Vietnam and Cambodia adventure begins with a full-day city tour of Hanoi. Departing from your hotel lobby at 8:30 a.m., you’ll visit key sites including the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum, stilt-house residence, Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh Museum), and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university founded in 1070. After lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, you’ll explore the Museum of Ethnology, showcasing life-size structures dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Continue to Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake, then enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride through the vibrant streets of the Old Quarter. The day concludes with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet performance.

Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and from October 1st to November 30th for conservation.

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Halong Bay with a break en route. Board a traditional wooden junk and enjoy a relaxing lunch as you cruise toward secluded islands. Explore ancient limestone caves, and weather permitting, go sea kayaking and swimming. Unwind on deck with a drink as the sun sets, and enjoy a seafood dinner under the stars.

Start your day with an early morning swim (if weather allows), followed by breakfast. Visit one of the famous caves in Halong Bay before returning to the main harbor. Drive to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for a late afternoon flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An.

At 8:30 a.m., your guide will meet you at your hotel for a walking tour of Hoi An’s old town, including the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, a museum, and the bustling local market. Stroll through narrow streets lined with architecture influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French, and European styles.

After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and then spend the rest of the day at your leisure to explore or shop.

Enjoy a full day at your leisure in Hoi An. Optional activities include joining a cooking class, exploring rural villages by bicycle, or taking a day trip to My Son Ruins, available at an additional cost.

Drive to Hue this morning with a stop en route to visit either the Cham Museum or Marble Mountain. Continue through the scenic Hai Van Pass to Hue. In the afternoon, cruise the Perfume River by dragon boat to Thien Mu Pagoda and visit the Royal Tomb of King Ming Mang or King Khai Dinh. Return to your hotel just before sunset.

Note: Consider a candle-lit dinner in a traditional garden house for an authentic Hue experience.

Explore Hue’s Imperial Citadel and the Dong Ba Market after breakfast. In the afternoon, drive to Phu Bai Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a guided city tour including the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, and Chinatown. Visit Cholon and Binh Tay Market (or Ben Thanh Market) before returning to your hotel around 5:30 p.m.

Head south to Cai Be floating market for a boat cruise among local barges. Optional stops include local workshops for rice paper and coconut candy, and a handicraft village. After lunch, take a short bike ride through village paths before transferring to Can Tho.

Fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap in the morning. After arrival, check in to your hotel and visit Angkor Wat, the largest and most impressive temple in the complex. End the day with a sunset view from Phnom Bakheng Hill (weather permitting).

FAQ


Are there any restrictions on photography in Vietnam?
Yes. Photography in or near military installations, airports or similar locations is prohibited. Anyone caught doing so will have the film, and possibly the camera or camcorder, confiscated and may be arrested.
Can I change my tour details after confirmation?
Once the official payment has been made, changes in tour details should be requested via email (divitravelvietnam@gmail.com or email of the staff processing your booking), and is subject to a surcharge of hotels and restaurants (depending on each case). Possibility of reservation amendments is also subject to service availability of our suppliers (hotels, restaurants and other)
Can I enter Vietnam later than my granted arrival date in visa approval letter?
